The
term Salamanca, which comes from the Quechua language of the
Inca people, is a compound word made up of the words "Salla",
meaning dance hall, and "Mancca", meaning hell.
It means "sabbat", or midnight assembly of witches, demons, damned
souls and other demoniac who get together to dance, have fun, drink, and plan
different evil tricks to play on human beings, devoid of any religious or moral
precept.
Zupay, the devil, is the king of the assembly and the one who presides
over it. He seals the pacts of those men and women who turn to him in their quest
to find the keys to life, pleasure, and evil.
The music coming from the gathering attracts them to it but not everyone can
join in.
